About Marisa
Participating in therapy is the best method of self care and all about you. From the moment you enter my space, I hope you feel welcomed and supported. Self growth happens here and my objective is to help you identify your goals, hopes, and dreams with a path to get there.
I graduated from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!) with a bachelors in Psychology and a minor is Sociology. After working in the child welfare system, I decided I wanted to work more in depth with the individuals I was serving. I went back to school and got my Masters at the University of Central Florida in Marriage and Family Therapy. Since then, I have been fortunate enough to work in a child advocacy center as well as a large non-profit serving the community through prevention work. With all this experience I learned that I love working with teens, humans who experienced trauma and who may be going through life transitions.
Feel free to give me a call or email for a free phone consult!!
